Hours
Opening hours
Casino of the Rockies, on the St. Eugene grounds outside Cranbrook, unlocks its doors at 11 am daily, whatever the weekday. Sunday through Thursday, the evening ends at 11 pm. Friday and Saturday nights, the floor runs until 1 am. Both resort and casino stay open through every season of the year.
All times are local Mountain time, the same clock as Alberta. That puts Cranbrook one hour ahead of most of British Columbia. The same applies to every time on this page. Holiday hours are not published separately, so check them on casinooftherockies.ca before planning a holiday visit.

The floor
On the gaming floor
Live table games are no longer offered here. The tables are electronic. The 19,000-square-foot room holds 210 slot machines, a count that includes E-Roulette, E-Baccarat and E-Blackjack, along with four choices of table games. Since the 2019 renovation, its design shows flora and fauna native to the surrounding mountains and foothills.
Quartz electronic table terminals are part of the mix. One terminal runs up to eight games, among them Baccarat, Roulette and Sic Bo, on a 26.5-inch HD touch screen. A player can move between games without leaving the seat.
The floor also has a full-service lottery centre. The casino also has a pool table, which needs no screen at all.

Sportsbook lounge
The sportsbook lounge
The PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge sits inside Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ, the casino's restaurant and bar, on the dining area raised above the gaming floor. An 18-foot screen shows up to six games at once. Bets go through three PROLINE betting terminals. The casino calls it the first lounge of its kind in the region.
The restaurant also hosts live music and other events. Each month's lineup appears on the events page of casinooftherockies.ca, the casino's own site.

Members get 10% off dining at the casino restaurant and 10% to 40% off a hotel night at the resort, depending on tier. Points are redeemed at the casino's cashier, which takes the card together with government-issued ID.
